The Electrical and Computer Engineering Students Conference (ECESCON) is a pan-Hellenic conference which started in 2007 in Athens. It is a three-day annual event that aims to inform students of all departments of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, as well as the rest of the polytechnic schools, about the new technological developments, as well as the new challenges of the Industry.

The ECESCON, this year, is organized in Xanthi, April 19-21, 2024, by Democritus University of Thrace, in a particularly important year for the University, as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of its foundation.

The Conference will include: Speeches on topics related to scientific current affairs, interactive workshops, contact with company representatives, at Career@ECESCON, paper presentations, the projects of the preECESCON 8 competition with the theme “Assistive Technologies” and competitions such as ECESCODE and ArtECESCON
