From Wednesday August 3 to Sunday August 7, 2022, the IEEE Region 8 SYP 2022 took place in Tunis, Tunisia, and the IEEE IHU Student Branch of Serres Campus was there.

The participating branch member attended interesting talks, technical workshops and met students and professionals from all over Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Also during the official dinner, he received, representing the branch, the branch awards from the IEEE for the activities done in Serres City, for the years 2020 and 2021, from the President and CEO of the IEEE, K. J. Ray Liu.

Students and PhD candidates from the following Greek Universities participated from Greece:
